I was actually checking them out last night. They have the best price on the 2025. The return policy is kinda sketchy. I'm guessing they won't take a return. Pretty much the norm. I like the 2025. Very nice looking.

Haven't shopped with Harmony before, bt I'd figure I'd let you know al the same that neither the Acer Aspire 2012 nor 2025 series can be returned. Seems to be something with Acer's own policies regading returns. Anyway, bottom ine is that you'd be hard pressed to find a retailer that'll accept non-defective returns on either of those two notebooks.

... However, I did manage to find one place, PC Nation, that seems to offer refunds on non-defective Acers, albeit with a standard 15% restocking fee. If you'd just like the additional peace of mind from having the refund option available, you can check them out. I myself was in the process of ordering from them, but they require more than typical information when ordering online, eg. social security number, so I went with Buy dot com to purchase my Aspire 2012.

Bottom line, Harmony's return policy, especially as regards Acer notebooks (I called them to verify), is nothing you won't find anywhere else. They won' accept non-defective returns, and that's that. Try PC Nation if you want to keep your options open. Personally, I love my Acer, so returns don't concern me much as I've already disseminated my essence through its casing. It's mine.

Hope this helped, and good luck with your purchase!

Agree all the way. A very reputable retailor is newegg.com and they aslo don't accept returns of Acer laptops. As far as I remember you can return a defective laptop but it can be only replaced by a new one of the same model and not just returned for refund. Sorry but this is the case with all the rest I have heard of
Good luck.
