lost mine a long time ago.. and i still have my platinum edition.. but i lost my cd key.. IM me at brian27015 if you have any suggestions / or if you have a cd key

considering I own an actual copy of half-life (and tfc/opposing force)...

It's not actually piracy.. or hacking.. or cracking.. I lost my cd key.. so to get a non used cd key from someone else.. aside from already purchasing the item... Hmm.. I see no rules being broken here. You're right... Fools do need to say something... whether it is right or wrong...

well sry i didn't notice that you lost it, but getting another cd-key (unless willingly given) is still illegal. don't try and call me a fool, it doesn't work and I'm getting tired of people using my sig like that.

well, if you have it installed on your system using that cd-key you can look in the registry. it should be under something like

start->run->regedit
hkey_current_user->software->valve->(somewhere in here should be something labeled "key" and that will give you your value. it might not be in the valve folder, it might be in one of the sub folders, but it should be there.)

now, this is all if you have it installed. if not, i'm not sure how you can find it...
