Is this a good time to purchase AW laptop

Hi I had been reading in the forum lately about the new coming PCIe and all that new technology that can be see in near future laptop.

I also hear about the possibility about 51m wont supports upgrade any higher that it is or wont be any for some time to come.

So please any advise should I wait? Or hells… just buy 51m rite now…it is so COOL looking

Ok if you are going to make such a satement please expound on me and the rest of the people here why is it never a good time to buy from alienware. In my experience the only bad time is around october and november christmas rush!

Personally I'd wait at least a year after PCI-Express is released before considering a purchase. AGP isn't even being used to its full potential but because it's an old interface- heading straight to the scrapper.

You guys are making way too big a deal on this. Why don't you wait until 4GHZ processors or 80GB 7200 rpm HD come out?

i might have a AW sale...

so if yr purchasing new or (hint, hint) used,,,, i might be in the market to sell my 3-4 month old lappy,, dell is looking alot better right now,,,,,this might be in wrong forum to post,, but i was just responding back to the orignal poster about his wanting to buy a 51m...

well thanks but i already purchase a new AW system it in pahrse 2 already
plus what kind of price are u talking for a 3-4 month old AW (51m i presum)?

it was original 2969.00 i have the invoice

wow you spec pretty close to mine...but mine cost 4.5k (with assexory)
