The RETURN of the display bugs

Hi guys

Some time ago I mentioned I had some kind of small animal IN my display so now guess what happend, now I have three of them in there, they multiplied.
And now they are sitting all three where they are highly visable and that really sucks now. Seems like I have to call Dell on Monday although I don't wanna lose my nice WUXGA Sharp Display.
So sorry to ask that again, but how is the ranking of the WUXGA displays in term of quality from the various manufactureres?
Cause as far as I know the Sharp is the best right?

Thanks
StarSheep

PS: I have a pic this time but where to put it????

What the heck are you talking about? By "animal" do you mean bug? I'm confused...

never heard of a bug inside an lcd screen. actually, is that even possible? how does it live for that long without food? the screen is compressed glass layers. contact dell and have them replace it for you. and ask for something free for the trouble i got a free stick of 256mb ram once. ask for a laptop bag or something

Yep those are small bugs and there seems to be some room between the layers or soemthing. They are definately there and three of them

can u take a pic of them with a digital camera? no flash no white balancing. do they move? I remember you posted something about this before but didn't believe you. I figured it was some crud that is floating in the liquid crystal.

wow. that blows ass. ive never seen that before. dont even know what to say other then good luck dude. And to me they look like nats. Close your window and night and dont leave your screen on and it wont attract those little buggers

That's really funny that ants (or whatever bug) got inside the screen... give Dell service a call and see what they suggest.

That's pretty nifty how they multiplied. Sucks about the display though. Good luck.

Stammen sie aus Deutschland? Viel Glück mit ihrem Bildschirm Problem.

Lol,
I just noticed something similar like that in my gameboy. There was one little white bug roaming the screen. I'll have to check and see if they have multiplied. I just figured it's kind of cool to see it running around my screen. Hopeing it doesn't poop all over it though.

I'll take it in to my store to have it replaced soon.

NOT! a good idea. If you read the side of the can it will most likely say do not get it on sunglasses, vinyl, and other plastics as it will cause a haze on the plastic that is permanent. Dell most likely will not repair that.
