Well yea you just heard it

ati's making a Rv360 and I think it will just be a rv350 with faster clock rates. Its set for the mainstream market and mobile video cards are always mainstream market. It should be out in a few months. Since the m10 isnt out yet but should be out in a month or two this must be its sussessor?

I dont know but im happy there making more cards, more decisions and better gaming for us/future laptop owners.

Its good for the market

healthy competition rulz...

If they push each other we can see two results :-

a] one will try to cut the other out by pricing strategy. This invariably means that they will cut corners in production, quality, reliability, drivers and software support - which is not a good thing

b] One will try to one up the other in terms of performance. This is what we are seeing so far. Trouble is the prices are skyrocketing and you cannot get the ATI Radeon 9800 with all the stuff it needs for under $500.00 anywhere...

where will all this lead??

the customer doesnt really care about a few Mhz bump here and there...we just want cards that get as real as possible and can play games the way they were meant to be played...
