Possible Early Preview Dell 17"Laptop??

Just surfing around and when I loaded up Dell's site it had a picture of the movie Italian Job that is coming out May 30th. Upon clicking on the picture it brings you to an article about the movie , but in both pictures the laptop showed looks just like an Inspiron 8500, however the lcd looks like its 17"......


I may be wrong. The camera angles may distort the actual size. It says the movie is coming out May 30th, maybe Dell's release date for their 17" is that date to coincide with the movie as some type of promotion. This may not even be anything.


Anybody know anything else. Dell is pretty secretive about anything new they release.


Possible Dell 17" Laptop?

Doubt it. Seth Green is a small guy. Funny in a seriously laid back way, but small. He could be making the computer look bigger than it actually is. I have seen the 8500. It is way to wide for the puny 15.4 inch creen it comes with. The only way that could be a 17 inch screen is if there is a numeric key pad that my good eye just can't see.

yeah I was thinking about that too, oh well. Never know With Toshiba and Sager coming out with a 17" laptop, Dell needs to get in gear .
