very nice dude, i'm trying to decide between the nvidia 6800 or the ati x800 XT

i like the fact that the x800 isn't a power hog, but i think it may bench less than the 6800 and i don't think it comes with pixel shader 3.0 like the 6800 does

12.790 is nice! We'll see how the X800 XT and a AMD FX-53 stacks up against your 6800 Ultra and a Pentium IV 3.4Ghz EE ... once I get mine or someome else's. Although, you have the Raptor drives and Corsair memory (I have Kingston HyperX in my current rig that I'll drop into my Aurora eventually. Its nearly the same as the Corsair.)

I'm happy for ya! Happy Gaming Deadscott!

I just downloaded 3DMark2001 the trail edition...

Got a score of 12196....

AMD 2400+ 266 Mhz FSB
1024 MB PC3200 DDR
X800 256MB DDR
not overclocked...

We'll see what happens when I pop back in another 512 MB PC3200 and my 3200+................................................................

ps- how much was yours Deadscott? Cuz the system i just ran it on, cost me $317 + $40 shipping and of course... the X800 was $400...

Dead's numbers were in 3Dm03, not '01. They are very different tests. 03 basically only tests the vid card, while 01 is a bit more well rounded and tests the system as a whole.

HEY DS...yer link's broken...
