CL56 vs AOpen 1557

Can anybody tell me the difference between them, thus the price difference? They seems very similar, but I don't get the price difference..

Yeah you can find the 1557G for about $40 cheaper. Some differences are that the 1557G has a bit more battery life than the CL-56 and it's also a little lighter as well. The CL-56 is I hear sturdier than the 1557G. I'm still going for the 1557G for it's looks. Everything else is about the same, specs wise.

The exhaust fan on the 1557 is a bit lower then the CL56, could be pretty annoying when using a mouse. As far as heat, I believe the palms get pretty warm as well for the 1557, all in all, if you want quality over looks, I suggest the CL56. It all depends on you . Good luck!

Actually I hear the palms on the 1557G don't even got warm. Maybe under heavy usage, but i've heard there's barely any heat on the palm rests. Not sure about the CL-56 though, might be a different story.
