Bye Inspiron 8200 Hello 5660

Finally made the decision to change over to a 5660 yesterday and ordered with powernotebooks.com. Should be here in the UK in about 7 days! which is brilliant.

I have done a fair amount of research and I am pretty sure I have made the right decision and hopefully I will notice a major increase in performance from my 1.8 8200.

I will be honest and say the reason for change: Star Wars Galaxies

Keep up the good work with forums I will advertise it wherever I go.

I noticed Dell did not like my post saying I was changing to a Sager and does anyone want to buy my 8200 - Deleted within 24 Hours! - Green Eyed Monster???

PS. Can we add Discussion Areas for the following Items:

Video, Audio, Upgrades, Speed Test Results and the like because I have a feeling these forums are going to get really busy really quickly!

Congrats!

We may add those forums to the list soon if the site continues to graw as fast as it has (just launched it the end of last week!). For now though, we're changing the "reviews" forum to "reviews and benchmarks" for any members to post test results.

My Dell laptop has a 1.8Ghz Pentium 4 Mobile with a Geforce 440 64MB.

I would imagine the performance from the Radeon will be better but how much better I do not really know over the GF4Go.

I ordered the Sager with a UXGA screen which should be good.

The Dell has the Ultrasharp UXGA but I am pretty sure I wont really be able to see too much difference (I hope).

Sorry I ordered the Sager with the 2.8 P4 .

I tried to put this into the above message but it seems the edit function has been disabled??
