Are you kidding? I would never consider a choice. I want the "pro turbo" tag as it adds (on average) a boost of 75% over the standard 9600.

huh? what are you talking about? the original thread was about how the 9800 offers significant performance boost over the 9700, then you jump in with the comment (out of nowhere) that you are going to keep the 9600PT (even though this thread is not about the 9600) and then you post again comparing the 9600PT to the 9600?

am i missing something here or are you WAY off topic here. whatever you are smoking, can i get a puff of it?

I was, uh, joking -- some people buy video cards because of fancy names at the end. With similar logic, I was commenting that I would keep mine only because it had a "PT" on the end, so it must be better than the 9800.

Bah... my humor is lost again. I'll shut up now.

^^ im with G. I got my graphics card cus of the "pro turbo". And until theres a card with "pro turbo ultra" or "pro turbo xtreme" on the end, im not switching.
