Charging problem with 8600

If I'm charging my 8600 for a while, when I pull it out of the back of the laptop the screen goes black. I have the sxga+ screen. How do I fix?

This might be a little off topic... but... Approximately how long does it take to charge the battery from 0% to 100% on the i8600 with the notebook on and the notebook off? Does it make a difference whether it's on or off?

sk23iam - give us some more info to work with... does the machine shut-down?? or does it go into standby ie comes back on a little later?? or does the screen go dark while the machine being on??

mojoRT - it makes all the difference if your notebook is on or off while recharging. When its off it should take about an 1hr (with a 65w adapter, ovbviously with a 90w it'll take less time). When its on it should take 1/2 hr more.. these are rough estimates ofcourse, and i am assuming you are talking about the 8600!!!!!!
