I have Verizon Online DSL and I was reading that I can use Wi-fi with my laptop at no additional charage. However, can I use Wi-fi in my house or can I only use it in Verizon "Hotspots". I want to be able to use my wi-fi in my house as well as in these hotspots. I'll have my laptop in about two weeks and I was just wondering. Thanks.

To get WiFi in your house, I believe you need a wireless router. Your modem would plug into the router under the WAN port and all the rest of your wired clients in the rest of the ports. Then you just configure the router and your laptop to talk to each other (preferably securely) and your in. I know this is not heling you alot, but its just a rough overview of what to do. Its 5AM, gimmie a break!

DominicanOps,
to use Wi-Fi in your house you'll need a wireless router as others suggested. Unless you're in the middle of a Verizon hotspot.
To use the Verizon hotspot just use your DSL account. Once in a Verizon hotspot you can see their SSID, connect in clear and when you go to browse the web it will ask you to login in ... I've done it here in NY and it works.
