Drained 1 battery completely, and another one partialy last night from surfing on the couch. The patial one was at about 60% when i finally went to bet *coff*about 4am*coff*. Yes i know Im a bad man for not discharging it fully, but I was tired and didnt care. I plug it back in, fold it up (still running, mind you) and went to bed. Woke up this morning and check it, to find that the battery is still charging away.....at 9% capacity......
OK, nucking futz, Ive got a toasted battery. I throw the other one in (which I drianed to about 5% last night) and take a shower, come back, and its hovering right at about 4 now......
WTF is going on here. I could understand if one battery went tits up (I dont exactly take perfect care of them, not propery draining and recharging etc.), but both? Its not a power issue as far as the wall is concerned. My PDA charged fine off of it, and my desktop is chugging away happily.
I turned off SETI and killed the internal fans and the number is still droping about 1% every 45min or so.
Only thing I can think of is mobo not working properly? I've been having USB power issues. Or perhaps my power brick went tits up?
