This was from a clean install using the install order from this forum. I noticed that the paper manual and pdf manual disagree in the install order. Which I verified with Sager since I'm using Win2000
It's definately a dead touchpad since the touchpad doesn't work in the system BIOS any more (which happens before ANY windows drivers are loaded). It was flaky at first now its dead.
Sager thinks it's either the interface chip on the MB or the touchpad. I agree. Just one of those things that happens I guess.
Not to happy that I have to pay to ship it too them (almost $40 for 3day to CA with insurance).
It BETTER work when I get it back!
FYI to reset the system remove the battery and AC adapter then press & hold power button till lights blink.
