Mayaman2's Big Review of the 4750 - Page 10

Your positive you didn't put the AS3 on to thick? I heard that could cause problems...do you have doom3? Try that out and see how it runs..

Gary,

I wonder if the AS3 application is going to cost you "extra" if you return the machine. Opened software does and I really can;t remember the rest. Best to check with the "policies" page, so that you are not in for a "rude awakening". Really don;t know; however, suspect that it may pose a problem - cost wise.

Might be better if you do a even exchange...I like the 4750 it has almost everything I want in it...

opened software as in...?

and no the as3 is working pretty good idle temps get as low as 42 sometimes most of the time there about 44C at full speed

Opened software - as in anything that was sealed and you opened. The O/S is one and I'm not sure what else, if even that you received and opened.

You might be OK. It's the deal on the paper CD-ROM packet that, if broken/opened counts as "Opened".

Can't say as I can't see. If they were all open, then you may not have a problem.

They were all open packaged when I got them too. Strangely I didn't receive the serial number for windows xp. I wonder why that is.

YEP - The OEM versions of the operating system require that the "sticker" be affixed to the machine at all times.
