No problem. That guy didn't do all the tests either! I will see if I can push it further, but I can't do it for some time, I am leaving for school on Sunday, I will be getting ready all this week. At school though I will be able to position a vornado fan behind the laptop. He he. Any suggestions on how the fan should be placed for best cooling?
An update. My 4750 is still kicking. I can't seem to get the wireless dsl to work in my room. That is why I haven't been on much lately. Oh and for the record, my 4750 is louder than my 13" apex tv. Better sound too. I am spoiled by the screen so I will probably have to get a 20" flatscreen tv for the room. I couldn't overclock in my room, due to the recent heat wave. But winter and the upcoming nexus heatsink bring new possibilites of overclocking! And you know I do like to push my system occasionally.
I go to University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pa. I'm an animation major. I don't generally take notes in class, I doodle. I think its an animator trait. So a sketchbook or journal is more useful than a laptop in class. My laptop serves as a portable desktop. So I don't have to carry it that often. The only problem I seem to have is that I get get the verizon dsl to work with my wireless router. I can't directly connect to the internet because of the layout of my room. I may post pictures of my setup later on. I did get a 160 gb acomdata external harddrive. It seems to work alright. But I know eventually when I get to my computer animation projects that I won't be able to rely on it as back up. I will also have to make dvd and cd backups as well to avoid loosing all the work I do.
