I thought the 9700 upgrade was out for the Area 51m. Was going to pick one of those up when I felt my 9600 was on it's last leg.

I'm perfectly content with how my baby handles games. I don't need the latest and greatest hardware... just something that lets me play at med/high settings.

My philosophy is tyo get something near the top....then I don't have to upgrade for a while....I dunno...maybe it saves me money in the long run

I agree with Twopiece. All I want is something that will be up to date for a while and play my games and look good while doing it. So long as it does that, I am happy. Oh yeah, and that it works too. Always have to add that in.

You know Craig, you are 100% right..
I have done a small amount of beening mad at Alienware and I have expressed what I feel but I do agree that they are trying to do the best to keep us happy. You make very good points and I have leanred TONS upon TONS of very useful information about computers in general and I do want to thank these forum's they are truly great and I love em to death... Thanks you... and I will send a quick email to Adam to thank him( I never thought of that..i tend to get selfish sometimes)
Other then that I would have to say Criag does an awsome job helping all of us here
