Aw crap...

Gimme a couple of hours to check out the various possibilities. If nothing else works - return it and get another one - I hope you are within the 30 days??

ya still within the 15 days actually, but i called the tech support center and they suggested i reformat and reinstall all the system files and see how it works from there, then if it still does it ill bring the laptop down for them to fix or replace.

waiting to hear from you...

Dont install anythin else...Just OS, SP1, Drivers etc...

And use the Sager drivers that are on the CD - not any other drivers...

Have you spoken with Sager tech support? (via e-mail or phone)? Maybe they can suggest something better than we can.

already spoke with pro-star, they have no idea and just said to bring it in, so i have until thursday to try and solve this, if i dont fix it by then i'm taking it for repair.

Is it close to home?? I doubt they will really be able to help you - most likely they will send you to Sager for tech support unless they have some sort of tech support in house...

Lemme know how it goes...

all you have to do when you get inverted colors is go into sleep mode (Fn+F4) and then let is gointo sleep mode then press it again (Fn+F4) to come back out of sleep mode this has uninverted my colors 100% of the time

8 months later..lol

when we got it..it was still a new prob, this solution wasnt around then, however even with this fix, its still a problem and the screen is still defective and could possibly have a much shorter life, I would recommend just RMA'ing it and getting a replacement, better to be safe than sorry.
