To be honest, this is about what I expected from the Transmeta processor. Not that they aren't good, but it's very difficult for any company to get a foothold in the business, especially if they are going heads-up against AMD and Intel. Even Cyrix, who was doing quite well for itself, eventually faded away into near obscurity (and eventually bought by VIA). The smaller companies just can't devote enough time and money into developing better, faster chips.
