Farcy, Halo, Unreal 2004 plays fine on my area 51m however Call of Duty - I get alot of hiccups during play. I have PC2700 memory, maybe it's time for me to get some PC3200.

I got a 9700 ati with 7200 drive and 3.4 gig. 768 PC2700 memory.

Anyone else having hiccups with Call of Dut?

your memory has absolutely nothing to dow ith your hiccups, unless the memory is just BAD.

PC2700 memory is more than efficient for your system. im assuming you havd 512 to a gig of ram.

for your hiccups id look at videocard drivers to start.

CoD plays fine on my machine

inxs,

Try turning off your wireless card if you have one.

I tired turning off wireless not luck, I'm trying to play on optimal settings at 1024.

I have 768 megs of ram and I am using the latest omega drivers.

It's weird cause Farcry works perfectly on very high settings.

Woot fixed it, it was the stinkin Omega drivers that were causing the hiccups, when I reinstalled the AW approved drivers it works fine now.

Weird Omega works fine for Farcry and Halo.

Oh well Im sticking with the AW drivers, they are more stable, I don't care about 3dmark scores if the Omegas can't give me a smooth gameplay.
