I'll definitely put up some pics when I get the lappy Ogre. I didn't order the lappy set up with operating system 'cause I've got my own copy of XP Pro. I've been reading about some of these driver issues and was wondering if it was going to be a problem. Hope not, I'm no PC wiz. I sure am liking all the info I'm picking up here in this forum though, Thanks to all of you. Anyone know how long it will take to get my lappy? I ordered with credit card about a week and a half ago and have pretty much only received confirmation of purchase.

The is an EXACT sequence for applying the Driver updates. They are listed in the manual. If you follow this sequence, you should not have a problem.

What they don't say is. Load WINP SP1 and all updates Before you apply the drivers.

it doesn't i just put that in there
you did? I didn't know you could? That and the gpu are really were the as5 need to ago, since that covers the gaming keys and left arm rest.

lol
you dont apply as3 to the hard drive
i just added the hd temp in there just for fun
i didn't do anything to the hd
for some reason when the fans are running it reduces the heat in the hd too however when i opened it up i didn't see any vents or anything leading to any fans..

right now was idle for about 45 minutes cpu temp is 46 and hd temp is 42

as3 only goes on the proccessor core and/or the gpu core..i haven't opened the whole casing up and i dont really intend to yet. they've sent me the bluetooth moduale in the mail and im guessing i might have to connect some wires where i'll have to open the casing if so then i'll apply the as3 on the gpu core too maybe even the gfx memory if there's anything over them cooling them
post #115 of 121
I forgot about the gpu memory. That is what causes problems overclocking so I bet it would improve it.
