sorry guys i have written some of it out in the text editor. However I would like to go down to my university tomorrow to pick up a copy of windows xp pro and reformat. I got hit hard with work in the last 2 days. Had to work like 2 9 hour days however. Alot of it is already written and will be posted tomorrow. Truely Accurate benchies might take a couple of days.

I was a little disappointed with my benchmark scores so in all fairness I went down to my university and got a copy of windows xp pro to reformat over this dell crap, plus xp home sucks. Also I just got my 512 stick of kingston PC2700 memory to bump me up to 768. So I proceeded to finish up my review in the next few hours but then my manager called from work because they are getting swamped with all the madden 05 sales that I have to go close tonite. However I have tomorrow off so I am going to post by tomorrow. I also got a chance to play with my girlfriends 8600 this weekend for comparison.

The comparison with the 8600 would be great. My dad is looking to get a new laptop, and I think that the 600m would be good for him. He doesn't particularly want widescreen, but he does want to do video editing (Pinnacle Studio 9). The comparison would be good.

Problems: 600m

Keyboard flex: it is there and you will notice it right away. It does not bother me all that much but in comparsion to my bothers IBM T23, Inspiron 8600 and HP zt3000 basically I have yet to find a keyboard with more flex than the 600m it is really that bad and happens on most parts of the board. Keys are not all that quiet either in comparsion to the 8600. The 8600 keyboard feels softer and much quieter. However to me this is minor.

Left palmrest heat: off to sleep I have to work at 8 will up date when I get off work around 2. too tired to type.....sorry guys I promise i will be done this week. Benchmarks are low on the 600m as of now. my high has been 7000 on 3dmark 01

Now that was an anti-climax if ever I experienced one!

lol. Give him time, trust me... after two of those damn FAQs which include mini reviews of sorts it is not as easy as it seems to find the time to type it out.
