I had the most frustrating experience with AW customer service today.

I called to check on my order...again. (I just can't help myself)

Anyway, I called to check on the current phase since I was told last week it could ship as early as this next friday. The lady I talked to told me there was a five week wait on my video card and Alien Respawn. I tried to tell her that I was just told last week that this was not true and that it should be shipping latter this week. She got snippy and then so did I. She told me that I was told at the time of my order that there would be a five week delay on my video card and made it sound like that time is just now starting. I'm embarrassed to say that after about 5 minutes of this I hung up on her.

After calming down, I called again and talked to a different rep named Allen. He started by telling me the same thing. But when I told him what I had been told last week, instead of telling me I'm wrong because the computer doesn't say that, he actually went and talked to the person I talked to then. He came back and told me that a mistake had been made because that person had assumed that all of the other parts were already in.

Allen then told me that the biggest hold up on my order was the Alien Respawn with a 3-5 week delay. He again took the time to check with a sales rep to find out how dropping that from my order would speed up the delivery of my system. After spending several minutes on hold and getting cut off on my cell, he called me back (didn't really believe he'd do that

) He told me that the computer was wrong, the sales rep told him all of the parts for my system were in and they should be building it this week and that it should ship between monday and friday next week. Needless to say I am much relieved.

To those AW reps that read here sometimes, I just want to say that Allen was a great help and I hope you find more like him.

I didn't relate this to scare you but to let you know in case you call and get the same runaround I did. Have paitience and ask them to check with sales because the computer may be wrong.
