Standby screws up temp readings on XPS?

Thread Starter
I have noticed that my XPS laptop sometimes gets screwed-up temp readings after coming out of standby, causing the fans to turn on full-blast. The solution right now seems to be Fn+Z (I think it rereads the BIOS info), but this is a bit of a kludge. Is anyone else having this problem? Any word from Dell on a *real* fix? Thanks

I RETRACT my previous statement. I guess I will not play with standby yet.... Shows that Dell still doesn't know what the hell they're doing.
