laptop subwoofers

Can anyone give me a web site showing me what a laptop sub actually looks like? I am wondering if they are just a simple cone design or if it is something more exotic like a vibrating material, kind of like the opposite of a pressure sensitive microphone.

they are not "REALLY" subwoofers, subs are designed to give a freq of 20-80hz, the min size for a speaker that can produce those freq properly is a 6.5" driver, no laptop has this built in, most drivers in lappys are 2" there for it is not a real sub, its more like a midbass/woofer instead of a SUB Woofer

Here's one:

These "subwoofers" top out at 2", so their low frequency extention is horrible. Besides the are severly underpowered. Sounds like pr50wner knows what he/she is talking about.

my mitac 8050 has a 2" "subwoofer" Honestly, I'd just refer to it as a third speaker. It has no low range to speak of.

I wonder if my vibrating material idea is viable from an engineering standpoint. Someone could make money with it.

Let's see... some cars "thump" when people play music, so are we getting into the subculture that wants their laptops "thumping" when they play music? My, my, my; that'll be a challenge to make certain the vibration doesn't ruin the computer--definitely an engineering challenge.
