i always have MAC filter on, SSID Broadcast off, SSID as a bunch of symbols and not words, also on my router you cannot access the admin page from a wireless connection therefore you cannot hack into it wirelessly, you must be plugged into the router's 10/100 port so getting onto my network is pretty tuff but i know it still can be done. and if someone really wanted to get into my network he would probably just getinto the guy's network across the street as its wide open LOL
While MAC address filtering may prevent someone from accessing your network, they can still sniff your packets out of the air.
Anyways theoretically, they could still spoof your MAC address to access your network, similar to "stealing WEP keys right out of the air".
If you do not want to enable WEP or even better WAP, then you should not use the wireless connection for any sort of personal/ private communication ( banking, very personal e-mails) as currently your information is being broadcasted for all to see.
To stay on topic, my M6n did not come with the logo on the top of the lid, just an empty square. When I RMA'd the screen, it came back to me with the logo on the lid.
I do not have the logo above the light ( on the bottom front of the screen), nor on the carrying case that came with the lappy.
