Aspire 2025 settings

Hi, I just recently purchased an AS2025WLMi and I'm not sure how to configure the mail light. There is an email quicklaunch button that's supposed to flash but i'm not sure how to set it up. Also how can I change the "speedstep" settings for my processor? The user manual just tells you basic crap but nothing actually useful. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, forget about that email issue, I figured that out, now if i could only find some kind of advanced power management...

hey i am haveing the same trouble with the e-mail lanch button i can't get to work. How did you do it?

Also are you having trouble with you sound, sometimes its really loud others i can bearly hear it?

My sound works great, and the email light settings can be found by "right" clicking on the button icon in the system tray (took me a while to figure that one out).
