Having issues with my new 200 GB external Hard Drive!

Hello

I just bought a Bytecc hard drive enclosure and a 200 GB Seagate Barracuda hard drive. I managed to put everything together, but the problem is that although the computer (see sig) recognizes it, it doesn't display it as a selectable hard drive. I can't really figure out whats going on in this case.

Do I need to switch jumper settings on it? Is there something else that I'm missing out on? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

have you gone to control panel / admin tools / computer management / disk management and formated the hd yet ?

The case is made basically of only plastic. Once assembled, I don't see how it can come apart. The fan in the case clicks when its not perfectly flat. I wouldn't recommend it. Baddddd case.

I haven't run a test yet.
