Finally Arrived!!

Just got my new S676 and unlike my two previous S670's, it has no dead pixels

Only noticed a few minor differences compared to the old model...

1) It came with 2 remote controls (one regular, one credit card sized)

2) It has some sort of Net Stumbler program built into the config setup

Just click on it, and a littler radar pops up in the middle of the screen showing all possible wireless connections

Not sure if the previous models had this, but I never noticed it

3) No Dead Pixels!! (actually, that should be number one since it was the first thing I looked for)

Anyhoo, I'm still playing with it and hoping I can get the TV tuner setup to record nip/Tuck tonight

Thanx

I have yet to actually open up the manual, but if you need any help with the TV tuner, let me know....

I played with it a lot on the S670's and pretty much figured out what went where in a couple of hours....

First, you gotta pop in the TV Tuner in the battery port...

If you have a cable box or satellite, you need to plug it into the antenna input with the supplied adaptor....

Then hit the Media Center button on the remote and follow the steps for TV setup....

It'll ask to choose a channel (2,3,4,composite, etc.), just pick whichever one shows in the small preview screen and hit finish....

After that's finished, just hit the Media Center button again and click on "My TV"

It will ask if you wanna view previously recorded flicks or Live TV...

Pick Live and the TV screen will show up

On the S670's I had before, I tried a set of bunny ears and it also worked, but I was only able to catch 3 channels in the sticks of East Orlando

I'm sure if I was back home in NYC at the time, I would've been able to catch all the local channels with ease
