Toshiba P25-S670 using an external monitor

Hi,
I'm trying to get my 19 inch monitor to work on this laptop.
How do I get it to use the 19 inch CRT as the primary and not use the LCD?

I've tried bios settings and display properties, but the only thing I can get is a half assed "extended display" of the two working together.

The area to set the CRT as primary display is greyed out.

Reset BIOS settings back to default, and just use Fn+F5 to toggle between LCD and CRT.
