LOL 2 min's after I emailed him he emailed me back and this is what he wrote
" Some upgrades will require the system to be sent to us for a resistor upgrade. This will allow the ATI 9700 to run at the higher clock speeds. So we are preparing logistically to provide this option and service to our customers."
I think this is good info...
I then asked him how will we know if we need the upgrade...
no reply yet, he works late, it's 8:17 FL time
UPDATE here is is reply
"We will work with them through our tech support to verify. If they have an updated revision, they will be able to buy the upgrade through the gearshop and install it themselves."

I hope that if i have to send my lappy back just for a resistor upgrade, they dont reformat my HD,,,,,sigh.... thats all they do everytime you send in your lappy, cause they reinstall the system OS and drivers and rerun "their" benchmarks and apps and if the system passes their benchmarks,, in their world, its fixed,,,,sigh...
