RAM Size?

Ok so i know that the ram for the sentias is PC2700 but is it 184 pin or 200 pin. As soon as i get my laptop i am upgrading the RAM because i didnt want to buy the ram from alienware because of how much they charge u extra. I was thinking it was 184 pin but then i heard that laptops are only 200 pin. If anyone knows that would be helpfully because i want to buy it now so i can have the ram when my laptop comes. thanks!

The ram used in notebooks is of the 200 pin SO-DIMM variety. If you are buying it aftermarket, make sure you get ram that is compatible with the motherboard chipset.

Wasnt the ram on the old model PC2100? Cruical said it was and that is also what Cruical said was in the Dell 600M. When i got it it had PC2700 in it. But it runs fine on the gig of PC2100 I have in it.

the new sentia has pc2700... if your laptop supports pc2700 go for it. crucial is awesome when it comes to returns and exchanges.
