Should I get Omega drivers???

I'm not sure if it is safe for my PC. I have an AX7 with a MR 9700 128MB card. Is there much of a difference between catalyst and omega? Can Omega drivers harm my laptop in any way? Thanks for your help.

I ran em and saw some issues, hard lockups, but I heard the 4.5 versions better than the 4.7s, but I think some other members here might have some better advice.

just be sure you uninstall the ati control panel b4 you install the omegas, and leave the fastwrites setting to off (dont retest after install) and you should be fine. ive had no problems with omega, and prefer their wider array of options.
