apple vs. windows - Page 3

athlon 64 mobile and DTR are more powerful and use less battery power then any intel DTR chip. But P4M still kills everything in terms of power usage. Emachine, sager, Compal, and compaq all have a computer with a 64 bit chip in them.

hmmm, i just looked at the sager 5690...i REALLY like it. i can put dual cd slots in there, dual batteries, and dual hd's! but it uses pentium 4 so battery life is gonna suck...anyone here have any experiance with it? it looks REALLY nice, and a fairly good price too. how is sager's service?

thanks

actually, i've more or less decided that i want a laptop with an amd mobile 64bit processor. any good choices out there?

thanks

oh, and i've pretty much decided to stick with wondows. i'd love an apple, but to switch would cost so much ($2000+ for laptop and at least $1000 for software/hardware accesories, etc). maybe later when i have enough money.

Dell sometimes includes the full disk (not the restore CD).

**EDIT**

nevermind...i've more or less decided on the sager 5690 even though it's got a pentium. there are some questions i have but i'll just ask them in the sager forum.

thanks for everyone's help!!
