OT: Cool Screensavers: What do you guys have?

Hi guys

I know this is OT but I just wanted to ask for some suggestions on nice cool looking Scrs that DON'T take CPU or GPU load cause if they do the fans will always run.

Right now I am still searching for a UNITED FEDERATION of PLANETS logo spinning but so far no luck.

Any suggestions would be great

Why use a screensaver?

They aren't necessary with today's monitors and it's better to have your monitor shut down to conserve bettery when you're not using it anyway. Well, I guess it doesn't matter if you're on AC power but you might save a few cents on your hydro bill *grin*

Sure SCRs are not nescessary today but I like them they are kinda cute.

So any suggestions of my request?

I would also be interested in some screensavors... I have loaded a few, a fireworks one was really cool but as starsheep said the fans would be running all the time... And I didnt like that so I took it off...

why are they not needed? isnt image burn in still a serious prob with lcds?

I think he meant there not needed, because you can have just your lcd turn off after a xxx amount of time...
