Angry with Hypersonic

What is it with these guys? It sounds like a lot of people have had a great experience with them, but they're jerking me around. I got my notebook last Thursday and had to ship it back Friday morning due to a dead pixel (I bought the dead pixel insurance). I called Thursday to check up on it and they said that it would be shipped Friday overnight and it would be in my hands by Saturday afternoon. I called again today and they said the same thing...it shipped and would be in my hands by tomorrow afternoon. I find it interesting that the tracking information says that it was shipped ground and is scheduled for delivery next Tuesday.

What a let down. Not only did they not deliver on the no dead pixels, they lied to me about the shipping. What really makes me mad is that I had my new notebook for less than 24 hours before having to send it back for repair and having to wait more than a week to get it back. What makes me even more angry is that people seem to get offered upgrades for problems that are less frustrating than this, such as delayed delivery, and I don't get offered a thing. All I have to say is that better be in perfect shape when it gets here or it's probably getting returned and I'm going elsewhere.

dude, call them and tell them to get ups/dhl to get it to your house on saturday. demand it. and ask them what they are willing to do to compensate you for your time and loss of sleep. they are businessmen. businessmen. freebies to you cost them money. HSPC has a very bad online order status check process. it is very misleading. Trust what you hear from them. And keep calling. Call them tomorrow and ask for Michael and just say hey, when the hell is it coming? Tues or saturday? If its not saturday, LIKE YOU SAID, whatre you going to do to make it up? Demand nothing less than what you want. This is called business. This is called bartering, demanding, whatever. I know it sucks but its a part of life, and trust me, HSPC's ppl are about the easiest people in the world to fight with, b/c they will (if you demand it) make it up to you... Sprint on the otherhand... And at least HSPC answers the phone in a timely manner... Sprint on the otherhand... Argh, Sprint has me labeled as an agressive person and im only 16. why? b/c I deman service. I think I should get what they promise me, and what I pay for, nothing less, more is good, but nothing less. Giving up, however, will get you nowhere, and waste more time. As for the dead pixels, did you try just rubbing it out? That sometimes works, and unless it was stuck pink, I cant even notice dead pixels... maybe im blind, but the damn things are tiny... I got the insurance too, and they dont ship ANYTHING with dead pixels, its just UPS/DHL/FEDEX/any shipping co beats the hell out of packages, so that might have been how you got one dead one out of thousands of pixels... My package came so dented and torn, I was about to piss my pants, I thought it'd be broken but it ended up fine... Dont worry too much... Just demand service and dont give in to anything less than that.

With regards to their shipping it ground, I'd keep on them about that. According to their warranty page, they should be shipping things 1-day air, both ways, at their expense. Talk to Michael Kohan or Megan (can't remember last name right now, sorry). They're the 2 most reliable sales reps I've talked to over there so far.

[edit]
You wouldn't happen to live in New Jersey or out on the Island, would you? That would be just about the only legitimate reason they would'nt air freight it out to you. I'm in NJ, so when my order ran late, they actually couriered it out to me the same day it was QAed and packed.
