paypal

glad to hear you accept PayPal PCTorque. didnt find that info anywhere on your website. could have made a difference for me when I purchased my laptop, because I wanted to get it quickly and paypal allows quick payment but also allows you to take advantage of the cash discount. so if you accept it, it seems like something that should be stated somewhere in your webiste? found out too late that you had better prices than Powernotebooks though so I bought from them. I'll prolly send $15 for the beebster fund. the guy is so helpful and was helpful to me specifically, so he deserves it. might also get that Targus backpack and just paypal the extra with that so the wife doesn't question the $15. she wouldn't agree with this donation. so anyway want to wait and see if she gets me a carrying case for the lappy for christmas or not to see if I need to order one or not. If not, then I will just paypal the $15 and have to explain to her. I will post on the backpack thread too my question as to what you see as the selling points of the Targus over the Eagle leather backpack on powernotebooks that somebody referenced?

keep the thread going for a while. it doesn't need to be specifically for christmas. if someone feels they have valued from Habib's knowledge and dedication, and they feel it becomes an appropriate time to send a small donation, so be it. if not, when beeb decides to get a new sager, he can get a nicer/better deal than he ever thought. if we can get the funds for the whole thing, well that would great. either way everybody wins.

peace

lol, yeah he's keeping the demo model for now and I'll use what was given and some more to put towards the demo model or next month's release depending on what changes come.

so how do I do this?

well my wife did get me a laptop backpack carrying case for christmas but she got it on ebags and its is a piece of junk and it is too small so I am going to now buy that Targus deluxe backpack on pctorque.com and I can add some extra for the beebster fund as it appears to not be too late. gonna use that ebags backpack for my old laptop which has basically become my wife's but I still use it for lan gaming. so what exactly do I do to contribute? I am going to pay by paypal for the backpack, if that is possible (I got as far as where you click to finalize the order and I still don't see how you do paypal?). Ideally I would just add the extra to this payment, to limit likelihood of wife questioning the use of the money. Looks like I will get an invoice and then do paypal? I assume paypal direct from an account counts as cash?

I've said it before but thanks Beebster for all the great posts and the specific responses to my questions. nice to see someone who was being helpful out of the good of his heart get rewarded. I know he is not supposed to be reading this thread at this point, but I assume eventually he will?

Habib basically earned the rest with his reviews and forum help. So, we took the donated money and told him he could use the $ from selling the 8886 demo model to add to it for an 8887. He sold it for enough to not cost him a cent for a loaded 8887 lol.

He hasn't been around much lately with his med school and other work going on which I'm sure everyone can understand (whimp j/k ).
