BIOS update for Ferrari 3200

Upon a quick look over the acer website for drivers to download i come across this bios update version 3A24 and it is dated 2004/07/12 so i assume most of the ferrari users do not have this file or update in their laptop

now, my question is has anyone done this update yet and if anyone could provide some insights on what exact does this bios update does and how to find out if the bios version is up to date

my questions might seem stupid to some of you, but i really hope i can find out more about this issue

edit: also a quick quesion, does anyone know what the DFU demonstrator does? it can be found under winxp's program menu

Save the zip file, open it. There's release notes in a .txt file there:

It would appear to me, they've just posted this file recently, which is actually from April 30th.

The 3A24 BIOS is exactly the same version that shipped with my Acer Ferrari 3200.
