Hi

I have a promedion D870P notebook, with a Intel pentium IV 3.00 800 FSB
a ATI Mobility Readeon 9700 256 mb, a intel 865PE motherboard,512 mb,80 gig harddrive. all the latest drivers are installed.

Windows XP pro and DirectX 9b.

The problem is that when i play the game Dark age of camelot online, after 15 minutes gameplay, the game freezes and i have to reboot again.

Like i said all new drivers are installed, and i have checked if the videocard gets to hot but its not the case. All the last patches for the game are installed too.

does any one know what is the problem here?

Greetings

Your model is the same as a Sager 8790... try posting in the sager forum..there are tons their with this model that might be able to help you..I don't have this model but i'll take a shot at it.. Does it do this in any game you play or just DAOC? If it does it in every game my first thought would be a heat issue..are your fans working during game play? is it laying on a flat surface? Nothing blocking the vents.. Are you in the US or overseas..and did you buy the unit in theUS? (possible hrz conflict?) Try it on battery..true it won't last long and it will probably downclock a bit but the battery should give you atleast 45 minutes of gaming.. See if it still reboots after that..
