By scores, do you mean those that are posted in the benchmark section for the 3dmark tests and such? Benchmarks are always relative. My laptop, not a sager, gets a 3dmark default settings score of 5600 or so. The sagers average anywhere from 7000 to 8000 depending on the specific setup and the drivers. Most desktops have trouble getting scores that high. 3dmark is based mostly on the graphics card, though. With other benchmarks, the sagers perform similarly to other notebooks when taking each individual component into accound. For example, a lappy with a gig of PC2100 DDR ram (the kind the sagers have) will have similar memory speeds to the sager. Same with the hard drive and the processor (although most lappies don't have this type of processor, they have the mobile one). If you want to compare the performance to other laptops that you can find in Best Buy, it would be difficult. You would be better off finding a desktop with a Radeon 9000 or a GeForce4mx or something near that and the latest Pentium 4 and around 512 megs of DDR ram. Then, try and do things, lol. THat will prolly be closest to the sager performance. What would be really sweet is if someone into computer or flash animation made a demo movie for the sagers, lol. Alienware has one for the 5660... go to the alienware site and find the area51-m and look over it... The sager 5660 is identical, but much cheaper. PCTorque or powernotebooks can configure one just like the alienware for all intents and purposes and get it to you cheaper. I would also venture that the tech support would be better, especially at this forum and with PCTorque from my experience. If you have any questions, feel free to post! Good luck! Hope this helped somewhat!
