Angry With Alienware

I JUST CALLED 1 MINUTE AGO AND I FIND OUT THAT MY LAPTOP HAS BEEN DELAYED 10 DAYS IN DEPOT BECAUSE ITS OUT OF STOCK WHAT THE HECK IS THIS! IT PISSES ME OFF THAT I PAY THAT MUCH FOR A LAPTOP AND WHEN IT COMES BACK I WILL HAVE SPENT MORE TIME WITHOUT IT THAN WITH IT. I JUST CANT IMAGINE IT HAVING TO BE DELAYED THAT LONG! THEY NEED TO SHOW A BIT MORE CARE FOR THEIR CUSTIMERS IF YOU ASK ME

Seems like Customer Service is hit or miss with them. Some people give it high praises and others think it stinks. Guess that's with any company, I'm sure you could find someone who hates BMWs or Mercedes which are greatly engineered.

The parts are out of stock. Hang in there and they'll get you taken care of.

I have to agree with Craig...some of us who were the first to get these lappies had much longer waits...they have improved their build and delivery times but still leave a lot of room for improvement...I recommend calling Monday and see what they say and see if they will throw in a free hat or amazon.com gift certificate or something...it never hurts to try! Perhaps, if given the chance, they can assuage your anger.

LOL I wrote feedback an email I overreacted in the email hoping they offer something free the only thing is I think its ridiculous that the last email I wrote them never got answered and the whole 10 day thing plus he said that they might not even get in until 10 MORE days thats a 20 day extension ridiculous

I told you not to send it back if it was usable and they have put one aside for you. It is kinda 50/50 fault here u shuld of asked for them to put one aside for you. But they should of told you about there could be a delay.

Customer servicies veries in any company good to bad.

Dont see why people always resort to "free things" lol it

10to1 its on time
1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000to1 they **** up have to replace my video card and mobo and I wind up with a fixed AW and a unreleased 9800...

CMOONNN LUCKKKY ATI DADDY NEEDS A NEW PAIR OF SHOESS...

Yah, But if i was in his persison i would be more trying to get my laptop back not worrying about free things hehe.

Dark> maybe your wait is cause they dont wanna put a NEW LCD in your lappy. So they'll make you wait for a refurb to come in. Its a common thing will all OEM's.

You pay the extra money for the good warranty, and they still manage to **** ya.
