Integrated Wireless Installation HELL

Thread Starter
Long story short, I uninstalled my integrated wireless driver on my 8890. Now I need to get it back. Note that I searched the forums and couldn't find anything either...

I tried installing from the cd that came with the system (the one labelled Wireless LAN Driver), but it won't work. The problem I have is that every single time I load up Windows, Plug n Play automatically installs it as an "Unknown USB Device". Even if i uninstall it, then try to install the Wireless LAN drivers, it still reverts to it being an Unknown USB Device. I downloaded UnPnP, which is a little program that disables Plug n Play, but even that doesn't work.

This is so aggravating, any help would be appreciated.

Why wont the CD work?
Does anyone know where to get updated drivers for it as well?

Right..here is what I just found out.
I am currently doing an unattended install and have install Adobe Reader v6 BEFORE the wireless driver.
Now the driver will not install via the CD if you have a newer version of Adobe Reader installed!! I only just found this out and was very surprised.
However I browsed to the install folder which the cd install created and grabbed the drivers from there and installed them via the device manager.

This may be why you cant install from the CD.
Let us know how it goes.
