Function Keys on i8600

Most of my function keys on my i8600 dont work (dis eject,suspend, battery, etc.). The only ones that work are the dim and brightnenss. How do i fix this? Thanks

unfortunately u must use dell quickset i believe. Anyone know of any other program that will enable the FN keys? As running quickset and speedswitchxp is kinda pointless..

I believe aoar is correct in that you need quickset.

I'll confirm for you, Quickset is needed to run a lot of these FN shortcuts. Really no big deal IMO as the main ones still work... and I hate Quickset with a passion. But if you want them that is what you must install.

Quickset sucks..
it takes 5 sec to response when i click on the icon in taskbar and freezes my mouse during that time. Its not a good prog because all of that setting i can change in Power or Speedswitch. So, i never use it, just leave it there peacefully

Other programs can do what it can do with less overhead and memory leaks and with more features. Why use an inferior program? The only thing others can't do is a couple of the keyboard shortcuts which few people use anyway. But it's my personal opinion

Thanks guys. Yah i made it so quickset didnt startup with my comptuer cuz i didnt know what it did but everything is coo now..appreciate it
