I only paid 20 bucks for ground cuz, well, I cant really afford much better, and i can keep myself sedated playing doom3 on my desktop (albeit it's not so pretty and no widescreen, but it works) till I head off to college, which is where I am having sager ship the laptop to. But why do I have to pay anything more for my brand new laptop with an issue that I didnt make?
Oh, and black barney, that link led me to a "The requested web page is not available" link.
$20 for shipping seems to be a bit low. I hope that you insured it for it's value. If not, it's worth no more than $100 if it get's stolen/lost by UPS.

the dude didnt even give me that option. trust me, i asked. the guy on the phone didnt wanna work with me at all on this. i told him my problem and he didnt even attempt to give me any help. he just told me he was giving me an RMA and that I should send it to them for them to "look at it." needless to say i am not too happy with this situation.. to add to it, he didnt even take my return address, he just hung up.. i had to write my return address on a piece of paper and add it in the box.

crap like this is the reason why i started building my own PCs.. and if i coulda built my own laptop i would have. i hate dealing with tech support idiots and their RMA bullshat..

I hope that you removed all traces of the OC programs and any logs associated with what you did/ran on the laptop. You would be suprised at how much information Windows keeps in logs scattered about.
