Fan Gui wish list - Page 5

I also had the taskbar icon off, with the fan one on and all the sensors on... WHY CAN'T IT BE SIMPLE.

Anyways, to anyone who wants to edit that source code... Go ahead.

Hello,

this is my 1st post here (and my last chance to get theses 9100 Fans run the way I want ... ?)

I've took all the steps, searching Dell 9100 Fan control, found diefer.de, installed ir8kfangui, noticed it can only set my (2 out of 3) fans to High or Low (pretty useless as my Bios already do that), posted a msg in diefer forums, waited and waited again, understood that christian must be , well if not dead , very occupied and then found 9100 fan control discussion on dell boards and then this one...

what a job to get thes fans runs my way !

So here is my question / request :

is there any way to have a correct "hardware sensor support" for my 9100 ?
Wich would allow me to FINE tunning my fans ?

anyway thanks to christian for his work and thanks to those who try to make it even better.

cheers

P.S. I'm using A05 Bios

thanks anyway for your answer/trick I'll give it a try.

The i8kfangui app has been updated (actually, just a registry change I think): http://www.diefer.de/i8kfan/index.html. It's supposed to fix the fan speed indication for the following models:
Inspiron 9100
Inspiron 9200
Inspiron XPS
Inspiron 6000
Latitude D610
Latitude D810
Precision M70
