Standard Carrying Bag-Pic Request

Thread Starter
I am interested in buying a Sager notebook, the NP3790-C specifically, but while I was customizing it, it says that it comes with a "Standard Carrying Bag". I was wondering if anyone has a picture, or could take a picture of the Carrying case that comes with the laptop. Could you also tell me if it provides any protection, like if you knocked it against a table, would the computer still be protected. Thank you.

I suspect that this case is the same as all of the others that are provided by Sager. It provides a "carrying case" and very very minimal protection from anything other than smog.

I would not use this case in any circumstance where the unit could be Bumped or otherwise be subject to any damange. Nice for keeping the dust off the unit and not much more.

That is what I figured, but I wanted to be sure...anyone have a pic anyways?

I'd rather them discount the laptop $2 than have them include the case. Picture that.

Get a Shinza sleeve. then the bag won't matter.

the internal dimensions for the Shinza say that the 3790 wont fit

Draw, didn't you confirm that a large shinza will fit a 3790 with a 12-cell?

Well, can you please take some more pics for us paranoid people at a few angles and some with the sleeve closed?

Here are some pics of the bag included with the 8790. It is truly a POS, providing no protection whatsoever from impact. As you can see I only use it for ancillaries. Despite its flimsiness the pleather exterior is sturdy and resistant to scratches, and the handle seems fairly well constructed, relatively speaking.

I'm looking for a bag for my 3790. I took the cheap bag from PC torque since I figured I wouldn't care for any of them.

I posted links of photos of my sager and cheapie bag in this thread:

Does any one have a Tom Bihn bag or something similar for their 3790?
Any suggestions for a nicely padded though minimalistic bag for my 3790?

Thanks in advance guys!

Check my review thread for pics of the 3790 in a shinza sleeve. The large size will fit the 3790 easily
