well, I'm having my first moment of true mobility with a laptop. Right now I'm watching a movie on a 65" TV (not mine, I wish tho ) while browsing the forums wirelessly and on battery power on my 4750. w00t!
BTW how long did you get on battery power?

2 hours

I wonder if you can get higher than that.

Can you say after how many minutes the fan runs while doing surfing, Office etc.?

After about 15 minutes the fans come on for about 2 minutes when doing light stuff. When gaming the fans are always on. They're quiet though, nothing like desktop fans.

what is the rating on the memory? is it the kingmax memory that is also found in the 8790?

thanks Dan and maya, I forgot about that app. I'll post all of my vital stats soon.
mayaman, are you saying that you can overclock with CPU-Z? because i don't think that you can. i downloaded it, and to me it seems to be a simple system information tool. not that its insignificant by any means...
not that one. one of those tools on that page you can. i think it may be cpuid.

wow. sounds like a locker code.
hehehe, most locker codes are only 3 numbers and the majority of those #s are 2-digit. cripes maya, get your facts straight! jk, you've been in that lovely repair shop for basic civil freedoms within a controlled environment called college, where you get a whole dorm room to store your sh!t instead of a 8" wideX4' tallX6" deep demi-cube that somebody decided to call a locker.

anybody still with me?
mines more around the size of a big walk in closet. my locker codes were always 4 digits. i used those thumb index ones.
you mean like they have on some briefcases where its 4 mini dials that you spin around? mine's just a regular dial.
no. its for a locker though. This entirely off the topic this is a question for you Ogre btw. I have heard in a civil war audio book that there was a custom in the south in which they would hang live ducks up, rub butter on there necks, and challenge the soldiers to try to pull the body off of the head. This was really hard because the ducks would bite you and the butter made the neck a slippery surface. The prize for this game was a fresh duck to eat. Have you ever done this Ogre, its sounds fun in a sadistic sort of way.
