Installing Problems

I just got my Alienware Area 51-m and tried to install the remote controller from the CD but i keep getting a hardware error. I also have this problem when trying to update my video card drivers. Does anyone have a clue to what could be wrong.

The error i get from installing the remote says

An error occurred during the move data process -132

try this:

1. Change the Startup Type of the following services to Manual:
* Internet Information Services (IIS) Admin service
* FTP Publishing service
* Terminal Services
* Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) service
* Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service
* SQL Server services, including the MSSQLServer service
* Antivirus services
Note This list may not include all the services that may cause this problem.
2. Restart the computer.
