Mine is still in Production as well. By the way, Hi everyone! This is 1st post. Found out about this great site from Dell Forums.

I am getting so tired of waiting for this card...I have the same part #320-4058, through the Business Division. Hasn't been cancelled yet.

I called just 2 days ago and asked about the order and was referred to my salesperson. I left him 2 messages. I still have not heard back from him. Wonder why? This card is beginning to feel like a joke. I also ordered the Dell Axim X30 and am still waiting on that as well. I ordered this card and the X30 on August 13th. Me is unhappy.

I spoke with a manager today. We ordered the correct part, and it's a valid order as far as dell is concerned.

The issue right now, which seems to be backed up by all the XPS orders that got delayed late this week, is Dell has run out or cards.

I hope to hear back Monday or Tuesdat from this manager with a more accurate assesment of when my particular order will ship, and if they do a first ordered first served basis filling of the orders, mine should be first filled here unless i missed someone else getting this part # ordered before I found a rep who found it

I'm betting the Sept1 timeframe for Dell to receive new cards is likely accurate, so the week after is when I am anticipating some of us getting it. I'll let you know when i hear more

a Dell rep told me yesterday that the part# for the mr9800 replacement is due to enter their system on Monday, August 30. fwiw

I had called tech support about getting my new XPS' screen replaced and asked the guy whether the mr9800 was available for me to buy and he said "yes" but then couldn't come up with a part number; he put me on hold, checked with his colleagues, and returned informing me that the part# for the mr9800 is supposed to be back in the system on Monday, August 30 (which is presumably when they'll be getting more in)

So basically On monday there phones are going to be ringing off the hooks for orders of the MR9800. Well I'll be calling as soon as they open so I can make sure you guys don't beat me to the punch and they run out again.

Also does anyone know where to find benchmarking results of the MR9800 vs other cards. Like the results at TomsHardware.com for example?

Yo...

Well, now is my turn. I am STILL on the 'in Production' crap status. It is September now. I have been waiting 3 weeks now. The is the first time DELL has let me down. Guess, nobody is perfect eh?

Also...trying to keep the thread alive. LOL.

A Dell rep just called me up to explain that the demand for the card has been such that ATI has not been able to keep up. Apparently the cards will ship on/near September 15th...
At least they made an effort to call!

haha I just got the same call said to expect shipment around the 15th hehe

that should work fine, since Valve hasn't said anything yet about when HL2 is going gold
