So what kind of a mouse is everyone using? - Page 3

I only get artifacts in 3dmark 2003 and the ATI demo with the glass balls. Its probably the HyperZ, but I have had not artifacts in an actual game so I haven't bothered to disable it. I get the same clock speed regardless of memory settings, but I've read its better to have more memory bandwidth then clock speed.

I had been just using the touchpad...yet I just got a new ultra mini mouse from Targus (it seems they make things other than bags). It is VERY small yet fits well to the hand so I almost prefer it over my main mouse. After using it for like a week it feels strange to use a large mouse now. Here is a pic:

it is the one on the right. The other there is to give you an idea of the size

What twesers do you use to operate that small thing?

My MX500 came today.
Yep, I ordered it from Amazon.

I really like it. So smooooth. Which is critical for gaming. Speaking of which, I think I'll go do that now.

Me and my MX500, frag, frag, frag.

No rodents here...

Just a trackball. Microsoft Trackball Explorer to be exact - and it is. Ergonimics dictated getting away from mice. They screwed up my shoulder too much. Trackball fixed that problem.

I wanted to get the Logitech MX-700 but I can't have a mouse that needs to be plugged in to AC power... so I took it back. I'm not plugged up all the time so that would be too much of a pain...

I have an Intellimouse now but I would like to try out the MX-500.

My mx-500 will be comming any day now I am so excited.

Which mouse would you consider to be more sturdy? MS Intellimouse Explorer 3.0a or Logitech MX500.

touchpad all the way baby

I bit the bullet and acclimated myself to the touchpad and now actually prefer it over using a mouse. hate those IBM eraserhead things, so I steer clear of computers with those instead of touchpads. I have a friend that forgot to bring his mouse to a lan game and he is so bad with the touchpad he just bailed on the lan game rather than play like a cripple. how lame! people, learn to use those touchpads!

I've used several different mouses in my life, and I say the MX500 is the better of them all. No way would I be able to go back to using what I was before hand.
